The 150 strong PTA in Uganda
sent two video messages to our PTA here in Bristol, one in Bugandan and the other in English. These messages thank everyone for all that they are doing to raise money for porridge, and to encourage the continuation.
The parents themselves over there contributed widow’s mites which amounted to one day of porridge for which we are delighted. It was a moving and humbling experience.
Victoria and the PTA had a wonderful Coffee & Cake event at St John’s raising 7 days worth of porridge. Thank you Victoria for the idea and initiative, and to everyone on the PTA who baked, gave time and skills, and to everyone who came – the Hall was abuzz.
